The Secrets to Losing Fat and Gaining Muscle
This is a guest post by James G. Perkins, who is the owner of Strictly Body Building. He knows his stuff and I’m glad to have had the pleasure of receiving an article from him, so thanks James!
It cannot be denied that there are thousands of people out there who are health-challenged due to their unbecoming obesity. It is a known fact that we all live in an obesity-tormented world, where everything is against obesity.
Ladies will turn the other way when they see fat guys, and it’s the same with guys. Even recent studies have shown that excess fats are linked to strong diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and many others.
Bulking up the muscles go side by side with losing weight, there is a fine line between bulking up and losing weight, it boils down to knowing the secrets behind it.
How to shed unwanted weight has become a very big issue for most individuals, what is worse is that more often than not, these obese individuals tend to cut on their diets, because they think it is the most practical solution to address their fat and weight dilemmas. Little do they know that it is actually not a viable solution to their problem – as a matter of fact, starvation will lead to a long-term of fat gain.
If you are truly serious about knowing how to gain muscle and lose fat fast, it’s cheap and easy, and here’s how you can go about it.
Number one Replace Lost Fats With Muscle
Most people confronted with weight problems believe that they only have to make certain restrictions on their diet and lifestyle. At the end of the day, they tend to cut down on the wrong things. If you want to stay fit and healthy, you must eliminate all flab and replace them with muscles.
You can reduce your fat storage rate by maintaining a lean diet, but if you want to burn fats, you have to hit the gym and real hard too. One thing that is common about all obese people is that they lead a sedentary lifestyle. Its either they are too busy, or they are just lazy. For those who think being busy is an excuse, then you have to read more on Bodybuilding Tips For Busy Bodybuilders.
As for those who are just caught up in the web of laziness, here is something you might find interesting to read “exercises are done against one’s wishes and maintained only because the alternative is worse”. With that said, we move to the next point which is persistence.
Number 2 The Key is Consistence
Even if you already know the first and most crucial tip, which is recognizing the fact that you need to hit the gym and go lengths to turn that flab into muscles, I am sorry to say that it is not enough. Hitting the gym real hard is not all that matters, you must make sure that you stick to your exercise regimen. Set goals for yourself and make sure you hit your target.
The beautiful thing about workout plans is that they can be broken down to work on the individual parts of our body – giving you a variety of exercises to choose from. Do whatever you have to do to ensure that you consistently carry out your workout routine, in other words, a well planed exercise regimen, will yield little or poor result when inconsistently practiced, while a poorly planned workout program will yield excellent results when consistently practiced.
Number 3 Less Is More
If little stops it, more will cure. This is one attitude that I will advice you not to have in your own interest. Many people out there believe that training to failure will give them their desired result and this can be no further from the truth. Make it a point not to do exercises too much to the point that you are stressed up. You may end up burning great amount of fats, but if you ever hop to gain muscle mass, you have to give your body sufficient rest and sleep. The truth is that, the actual time your muscle builds itself is not when you are in the gym, but when you are on your bed, sleeping or relaxing.
